onQuick dish - awesome flavor. The lemon really makes the flavors of dill and tarragon pop! This is one of the best green bean dishes I have ever tasted. (This recipe can be made with any of our seasoning blends.)
PREP TIME | COOK TIME | TOTAL TIME |

INGREDIENTS:
1 1/2 tsp. French Made Easy or Any of Our Blends
1 pound fresh green beans, washed - tips trimmed
1 small onion, halved and sliced 1/8"
2 Tbsp. unsalted butter
2 Tbsp. olive oil
1/2 lemon, juiced
DIRECTIONS:
Here is everything that you need...
First thing you need to do is a take a large pot and fill it with water. Bring it to a boil. You need to "blanch" the green beans first. While the pot is heating up, wash the green beans and trim their tips off. Once the pot is boiling, add the beans to it and cook for about 5 minutes. You just want to quickly cook them. Remove the beans from the pot and add to a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking. It keeps them nice and green.
Slice the onion in half, then slice each half in about 1/8" thick slices.
Add the butter, olive oil and 1 1/2 teaspoons of French Made Easy to the saute pan. Saute the onions for about 5 minutes, then add the green beans and the juice from 1/2 a lemon. Cook the green beans and onions for about 10 minutes over medium-low heat.
Remove from the heat then cover the pan with a lid and let them sit for another 5-10 minutes. They will cook to perfection. Add the butter, olive oil and 1 1/2 teaspoons of French Made Easy to the saute pan. Saute the onions for about 5 minutes, then add the green beans and the juice from 1/2 a lemon. Cook the green beans and onions for about 10 minutes over medium-low heat.
Serve immediately. Enjoy...
