Tacos anyone? Who doesn't like tacos? Okay, so maybe there are some people out there but we don't know of any. We decided to show you a healthier alternative to a Mexican classic. If you don't want healthier tacos, no problem - just use some ground beef instead of ground turkey! We wont tell anyone.

PREP TIME COOK TIME TOTAL TIME
15 mins 30 mins 45 mins

INGREDIENTS:

Taco Meat:

1 Tbsp Mexican in a Minute
1/2 Tbsp Smokin' Chipotle* (optional)
1 pound ground turkey (can use beef also)
1 onion, diced
1 Tbsp olive oil
1 15oz can chopped tomatoes

Taco Toppings:
2 tomatoes, diced
1 cup shredded lettuce
Grated cheese
1 small Greek Yogurt (substitute for sour cream)**
1 tsp Smokin' Chipotle or Mexican in a Minute

DIRECTIONS:

how to make tacos with all natural mexican seasonings

First thing you need to do is dice up the onion. Get out your favorite pan for browning meat and add the oil. Place over medium-high heat. Once it's hot, add onions and 1/2 tablespoon of the Mexican blend. Saute the onions down until soft and translucent - about 5 minutes.

Next, you want to add the ground turkey and the last 1/2 tablespoon of the Mexican blend. Make sure to break up the turkey while it's cooking so you don't have really big chunks. Keep the pan hot so the meat browns up.

Pour can of tomatoes over the turkey meat and add 1/2 tablespoon Chipotle blend. Mix well and reduce heat to low and let simmer for about 10-15 minutes. The sauce will reduce and leave just the right amount on the meat. Taste and adjust seasoning if you need a bit more.

All you need to do now is prepare you tacos. Hard or soft tacos is up to you. Add a little meat, lettuce, tomato, cheese and seasoned greek yogurt. Serve immediately!

*If you don't have the Chipotle blend you can still make great tacos. But get on it already, that Chipotle blend is some amazing stuff!

**Take 1 teaspoon of either the Mexican, or preferably the Chipotle, and mix with the Greek yogurt. Chill and dollop on top of tacos.
